A Sense of Place

This assignment involved exploring the relationship between the people I photograph and the place where they are photographed. In other words, both the people and the place are significant.

    I like the way she is looking off to one side while there is a line of cars going past her in the background.

    Well you certainly achieved your goal of making both the person and context important, but what’s great about it is the woman’s look, which is really interacting with the place.

    It’s almost like she is too close to the traffic and in danger…but blissfully unaware.  Interesting perspective.
